"The number one thing that I learned is that I don't have to rely on my housekeepers for food or laundry. This trip taught me how easy it is to bring a smile to someone's face by offering sunflower seeds to some kid or bread to a man in a business suit.
But the main thing was seeing something being completed by a bunch of kids and how we were able to accomplish something so big in only a short time.
Or seeing that there is life outside the Five Towns where not everyone is bringing home six figures and they could be happy with what they have and how thankful they are for just the littlest act of kindness.
And you know what, now I see how lucky I have it, and how I could have been born into any one of these West Virginian families and might not have had my whole Polo wardrobe.
Thank you Shvuayim for this much needed reality check."
